Happy Halloween


 
This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.
I am using the awesome artwork of  Lysisange.

Supplies Needed
I used PSPX...but any of them should work.
 Scrap Candy Corn by Jens Sweet Temptations  HERE
Millie's Psp Madness Template 365  HERE
WSL Mask 84  HERE
Filter
Oliver's Filter - Toile'd Araignee
EyeCandy 4000-Gradient Glow (Optional)
Font of Choice, I used Bad Cargo 2.0

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 
Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open the template, delete the credits and as usual go to Adjust, canvas size 800 x 800.

Working from the bottom up,  paste paper 1, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Merge layer 2 down with layer 1,  apply Oliver's Filter, Toile'd Araignee and change the intensity to 100 or one you prefer.
Apply EyeCandy 4000-Gradient, color of choice, I use an orange color,  glow at 5.53 glow width or more if you prefer, Soft corners 25,  Overall Opacity at 100.

Select layer 3, paste paper 5, moving so you can see the word Boo at the top, invert, delete, select none.  Do the same with layer 4 of the template.
Apply an inner bevel on these with this setting
Shape 2, bevel width 4
15, 3, 4, 0
48, 36, 42
Color white.

Merge layer 6 down with layer 5, select all, paste paper 4, invert, delete, select none. Apply the gradient glow with the same settings but I changed the color to more of a yellow this time.

Select layer 7, paste paper 2, moving so more of the spiders are showing, invert, delete, select none. Apply the orange gradient glow this time.

Merge layer 9 down with 8, select all, paste paper 3, apply Oliver's Filter, Toile'd Araignee, intensity at 50.
Apply the yellow gradient glow this time.

Resize candy corn of choice to 25%, place in each square.
Rotate the wordart Halloween 90 degress to the right and move over to the right.
Add the yellow gradient glow as before.
Move the Happy wordart to the top left side, then go to Adjust, Hue and Saturation, colorize, with Hue 2 and Saturation 255, gradient glow with the yellow.

If using the same tube as I am, resize to 35% and place in the center.

Resize the ICU pumpkin to 40%, place on the right.
Resize ghost in a box to 55%, place on the right in front of the pumpkin.
Duplicate twice and move to the left more below the tube layer.

Paste and mirror the witch pumpkin and place on the left side.
Resize the kitty pumpkin to 45%, place on the left side.
Resize the cupcake to 30%, place in front of the kitty pumpkin.
Resize the scythe to 50%, place to the left below the kitty pumpkin layer.
Resize the winged skull to 50%, free rotate to the right at 15 degrees, duplicate, mirror and move down some on the left.

Add any other elements you like, then once happy, close off any background that you used, merge visible, resize first, then add your copyright and name.

Cute Pumpkin Girl

Supplies Needed
I used PSPX...but any of them should work.
 Scrap Halloween 1 by Top Cats Tagz  HERE
There are 4 kits, different colors, I used the orange one.
 WSL Mask 84  HERE
Filter
EyeCandy 5-Impact-Gradient Glow
Font of Choice, I used Witches Magic

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 
Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

As usual I open a new image, size 800 x 800.

Paste paper 7, apply your mask, delete and merge group.

Paste element 11, free rotate to the left at 10 degrees, all layers Unchecked.
Click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper 1, invert, delete, now paste your close up tube, delete, select none. Move the paper and tube layer below the frame layer.

Duplicate  your tube layer, go to Adjust, Blur, Gaussian blur at 3, change the blend mode to hard light, merge down.
Paste element 22 on the left upper side below the paper layer of the frame.

Resize your tube to 55%, if using the same as I am and place on top of the frame on the left side.

Resize element 6 to 50%, mirror and move back to the left side under your tube layer, free rotate to the left at 10 degrees.

Resize element 17 to 60%, place on the right side, duplicate, resize that one to 85% and place by the first pumpkin.
Paste element 30 below the pumpkin layers on the right side.
Element 4 resize to 65%, mirror and place on the left side by the witch.
Resize element 1 to 40%, mirror, duplicate and place at the upper right side of your tag.

Resize element 20 to 50%, free rotate to the left at 15, and place by the house on the left, moving one below the house layer, erase the grass that is showing.
Resize element 43 to 50%, place on the left side, below the cat layer, duplicate, free rotate to the left at 15 and move to your liking.
Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
If you are going to do the Signature and Avator, do not merge yet.

Signature tag
Open a new image 600 x 250, paste your mask from your tag, duplicate, mirror and move over some.
Paste element 49 on one side, duplicate, mirror and adjust.

Then close off your tube layer, pumpkins layer, drink layer, cat, and shoes.
Copy merged and paste on your mask layer, resize to 95%.

Now back to your tag open all the layers you closed earlier.
Paste your tube and move to the left side some.
Paste the larger pumpkin and resize to 90%, place on the right side, then paste the smaller pumpkin and resize to 85% and place on the right side.
Paste the drink, resize to 85%,  move below the pumpkins on the right.
Copy and paste one of the bats and place on the upper right top, duplicate, mirror, resize to 65% and place on the left.
Paste the boots below the tube layer on the left side, resize to 85%.

Now add your frame
I used Eye Candy 5-Impact, Gradient Glow for my frame with these settings,
Click the Basic tab,  then Outside Glow, Mask Selection checked,
Glow radius 10,  soft corners 7,  Overall Opacity 100,
Distortion lump size 53, Gradient smoothness 100.
If it does not show up, add a new layer and fill with a color and merge your tag, then apply the filter.
Add your copyright and name now.

Avator
Whatever size your forum or group allows.
I did mine 150 x 200
Paste your signature tag, move how you like it, merge visible, add your frame and then add your copyrights and name.

Pumpkin Fever

This tut was written for those with a basic knowledge of psp.

Supplies Needed

 Scrap Spooks-R-Us - By Sweet As Honey  HERE
Millie's PSP Madness Template 356 HERE
 Millie's Madness Mask 54  HERE
Eye Candy 4000-Gradient glow (Optional)
Font of Choice, I used Volutes

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 
Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Open your template, duplicate and close the original, delete the credits.
And as I usually go to Image, canvas size 800 x 800.

Add a new raster layer, paste paper 5, apply your mask, merge group and delete.
Move to the bottom layer.

Select raster 9 on the template, new raster layer, fill with #dc791d, deleting your template layers as you go along.

Paste the haunted house 1, resize to 75%, place on the left side, below raster 2, now select raster 2, paste paper 7, invert, delete, select none.
Paste frame 1 below raster 2 layer, using your Pick Tool, pull in the sides and top to fit how you want behind the circle. Duplicate, change the blend mode to hard light and merge down.

Select layer 3, new layer, fill with #dc791d.
Raster 4, paste paper 10.
Layer 5, new layer, fill with #870000.
Layer 6, paste paper 9.
Leave layer 7 as is or change the color if you like.

Paste the gate, resize to 70% and place more on the left side, adjust how you like once you paste your tube.

Paste the Haunted House 1 again resize to 75%, mirror and place on the right side.
Paste the skull flower below layer 4 on the right behind the house and adjust, duplicate, mirror, move below the frame layer and up on the left side.

Paste your tube, if using the same one I am, I resized mine to 80%.

Resize the Halloween lights to 50%, place below the tube layer on the gate.

Catinpumpkin, resize to 40%, place below the lights layer on the left side, so it is showing behind the leg of your tube.

Pumpkin 1 resize to 40%, place on the right side below your tube layer.

Halloween cupcake, resize to 30%, place at the bottom by the pumpkins on your right.

Resize the funny spider to 25%, place on the pumpkins where you like it, duplicate, mirror and place again.

Paste and resize Cloud 1, place on one side, duplicate, mirror and adjust to your liking, having them below your tube layer.

Resize bat 1 to 25%, mirror, place on the left side under the cloud layer.

On the Pumpkin wordart add a fat white gradient, moving the wordart where you want it.  Then on the wordart fever add an orange fat gradient.
Resize the lantern to 40%, place on the tree branch and erase a bit of the loop to make it look like it is hanging on the branch, duplicate and mirror.

Add any other elements you would like.
Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
That's it

Rock On

Font of Choice, I used Clive Barker

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 
Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

And as I usually go to Image, canvas size 800 x 800.

Add a new raster layer, paste paper 3, apply your mask, merge group and delete.

Paste the large frame, free rotate to the left at 5 degrees, click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5, paste paper 8 or one you prefer, invert, delete.
Do not deselect yet, paste your close up tube and move to the left a bit, delete, select none. Duplicate your tube, go to Adjust, blur, Gaussian blur at 5%, change the blend mode to screen or one you like, merge down.

Duplicate your frame, resize to 55%, mirror and move down on the right side, click inside with your magic wand, expand by 5 and paste paper 8, invert, delete.
Mirror your tube, then paste the belt buckle part in the small frame, delete, select none.
Duplicate, Adjust, blur, Gaussian blur at 5%, change the blend mode to screen, merge down, select none.
Apply Unplugged Tools-Interlace with these settings
12, 40, 1, 0
Also apply this same filter to the paper on the large frame.
Paste the lights and move to the top of the large frame, free rotate to the left at 5 degrees.
Paste the light beam and place on one side, duplicate and mirror and place on the other side.

Resize your tube to 43%, if using the same one I am and paste off center a bit.
If you want the light beams on your tube layer, then move your tube down under the light layer.

Paste the wire star above the mask layer on the lower right side, duplicate, flip and mirror, adjust how you want it.
Paste wire 2 on the upper right side, move out a bit, duplicate, mirror, flip and adjust.
Paste the splatter on the upper right side above the wire layer, duplicate, mirror, flip.

Paste the film strip at the bottom, above the large frame layer, click inside each square and expand by 3, paste paper 11, invert, delete, make sure the paper layer is below the film strip.

Resize the stool to 50%, place on the left side above the film strip layer.
Resize the microphone to 30%, free rotate to the right at 90 and place on the stool.
Resize the guitar to 85%, free rotate to the right at 10 degrees and place by the stool.
Resize the pills to 15% and place on the base of the stool at the bottom.
Resize the CD to 30%, duplicate 2 or 3 times more and place them below the small frame paper layer in different areas.
Paste the chain below the tube layer at the bottom.
Resize the lips to 40%, free rotate to the left at 15 and place on the upper right side.
Resize the music notes to 30%, rotate one or two at 15 degree, duplicate and place where you like them.
Paste the Disco Ball above the wire layers on the upper left side.

Add any other elements you would like.
Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.

Breathless Autumn

Drop Shadow usually V2 H2 50 black
 
Let's get started
*Remember to add your drop shadow as you go along*

Duplicate your template, hold the shift key and the letter d
Close the original and delete the credits.
And as I usually do go to Image, canvas size 800 x 800.

Add a new raster layer, fill with a color of choice, I used #d0380a, apply your mask, move below all the template layers.

Select layer 1 of the template, new raster layer and fill with #d98972, delete the template layer.
Merge layer 3 down with layer 2, select all, float, defloat, paste paper 5, invert, delete, select none.

Layer 4, paste paper 6, delete the template layer.
Layer 5, paste paper 2.

Layer 6 and 8 apply Unplugged Tools Filter, Interlace with these settings
8, 70, 1, 0

Move the wordart up to the top and over to the left a bit.

Select layer 8, float, defloat, paste your closeup tube and move how you like it, invert, delete and select none.
Duplicate your closeup, go to Adjust,  Blur, Gaussian blur at 5, change the blend mode to hard light and merge down. Apply Xero filter-Porcelain and then apply the Unplugged Tool filter with the same settings as before.

Paste your tube,  and place to the right,  duplicate it, then select layer 6,  select all, float, defloat, being on the bottom tube, invert, delete, select none. Now back on the top tube and erase the leg area and part of the dress.
Apply Xero filter-Porcelain to both tubes.

Resize element 11 to 70% and place below the tube layer by the hand on the right.
Resize element 10 to 60% and place by the other pumpkin.

Paste element 28, move below the tube layer on the right and place how you like.
Duplicate , mirror and move one below layer 8 and duplicate again and move up and just above the mask layer.  Duplicate again resize to 75%, place below the pumpkin layer on the right side.

Resize element 23 to 70%, paste in the middle.

Resize element 8 to 50%, place below the tube layer a little to the left.

Resize element 7 to 40%, place on the left side, duplicate, mirror and move up on the tree on the right side.

Paste element 18 below layer 6 and 8, mirror one and place how you like them then duplicate one or two more times and place in different areas.

Resize element 19 to 75%, place on layer 7 and adjust to your liking.

Resize element 4 to 60% and place on the left lower side.

Paste element 21, free rotate to the left at 90 degrees, move to the bottom of the tag and below layer 3 of the template.

On the wordart, apply a fat gradient glow with a color of choice.
Resize element 5 to 50%, place on top of the wordart.

Add any other elements you would like.
Crop your tag to be sure no stray shadows are on the edges of your tag.
Once happy with it all, close off any backgrounds, merge visible.
Resize first, then add your copyrights and name.
That's it
